There is a bedroom downstairs with an accompanying bathroom, as well as a lofted bedroom upstairs with adjoining bathroom.

The cabin was completely renovated recently and is very nicely equipped for cooking and relaxing! Full kitchen with all the equipment needed, gas fireplace controlled directly by the Nest and Sonos speakers ready to wirelessly play music. With tons of windows and an open air feeling, we hope you really enjoy the cabin as much as we do.

Everything but a storage closet is fair game! If you do decide to use the Tesla charger, we just ask you keep a rough calculation of how many miles you charged. We pay $0.35 per kWh and would like to settle up at the end of the trip.

Turning into the driveway there is an otherworldly sense of arrival with Sol’s iconic, all white, modern structure set in the wild terrain of epic boulders. The crowning feature is the massive whale-shaped rock that towers above Sol, as if wanting to see and greet each guest. A celebrity in its own right – and one of the most photographed boulders in the high-desert – we have unoriginally but affectionately named it Whale Rock.

When we staycation we always head to Huntington Beach or Palm Springs but this time we chose Sol to Soul for our anniversary. It truly is an amazing home, the sunrises and sunsets were stunning and the location was private and romantic.

We can appreciate the design and decor of the home. It was equipped with quality products and amenities, the kitchen was well stocked (we had everything we needed). The bed was very comfortable (I came home and bought all the same bedding trying to replicate it!).

The jacuzzi was necessary, we used it several times a day. The house is tucked away in the big rocks of the area, yet close enough to drive to Flamingo Heights for a delicious pizza or to Pioneertown to visit Pappy & Harriets. Communication was instant and the book inside the house gave easy instructions on everything!

We truly enjoyed every single minute in this beautifully designed home. We hope to stay at Sol to Soul again!

Our group of two couples had an amazing stay! It is a true ski in / ski out (sans a very short walk) with access to the Shadow Mountain lift and entry via Norway (double black) or W 5th Ave (blue). It is also a reasonable downhill-to-flat 10 min walk to the Silver Queen gondola. We loved the ski access and proximity to town.

The property is up about 4 flights of stairs. (If you don’t like stairs, book elsewhere.) However, the reward for your climb is a gorgeous view of Aspen town and the mountain range to the north! There is a lift/tram that can be used to get luggage up, which we took advantage of. Trey was a super responsive host and was happy to answer our questions about mountain access and conditions.

We hope to stay here again in the future!
